ow. my hand. x__x;; my thinking here was that the more detailed and pretty i make this picture, the more likely it will be for song to come back and officially be paired with zuko. it might not work out that way, but hey, i can still hope. ;-; and just incase she doesn't appear again, i can always turn to the dark side... er... fanfiction. X3

i tried really hard to keep the lighting consistent and correct throughout the picture so that it would all kind of blend together. i know it's not visible, but all the light is coming from a big yellow lantern above the screen door. the entire background was built out of shapes, merged together, and colored on two layers. i also tried inking this digitally, with color, but it came out too light, fugly, and thin, (watching too much invader zim has ruined any taste i may have had for making thin lineart), so i stuck with the sketchy lines. i haven't been inking anything lately because i can't afford new pens, and the ones i have i need to save for doujin making. x___x;; so yey~ sketchy fanart it is.

so yes... song and zu-... lee-... er... junior, sharing a tender moment together before his departure. :3
