My watercolor project for Materials and Techniques for Sequential. I'm... not too pleased with the outcome. Figures I would smash my right index finger in a doorway right before starting the colors. x___x;;;

I need to lock myself in a basement and spend a year drawing ships before even considering drawing pages for Scurlock. Love the first and fourth panel, hate the second and third. ><;;;





Materials: 11x17'' watercolor paper, Pentel watercolor set, various brushes, salt, white gouache, white gel pen, staedtler color triplus fineliners.

That ship is pretty friggin' sweet, ma'am. I really love the colored inks combined with watercolors, it definitely makes everything more vibrant. :"D

HA no. I've heard Dove's Materials class is ridiculously easy compared to Larison's. I have Dove for character design, and quite frankly, I feel like I'm being babyed and cheated out of a good class. :/
