 finally finished!! my first ever cg-thingy...with a background!! i hope i didn't make it TOO swooshy or sparkly or anything. ZIIIIIIIIIM!!! @_______@;; i've been working on this on and off for a week now. it's a wonderful way to procratinate on studying for finals, (WHICH ARE OVER NOW!! *angels sing*). i tried to imitate the invader zim style as much as i could for this, and since i've been drawing them for four years now the only thing that really gave me difficulty was tak's ship. zim's voot cruiser was drawn from memory, so it's not completely accurate. the space is modeled after the same starry-sky they used in every sky shot on the show. and yeah...there's a hurricane over florida every time you see earth from space, so i had to put that in. i mean no offence to anyone from there. x__x;; i think now i am truely beginning to appreciate photoshop art now. IT IS PAINFUL, yes? having a tablet now makes it so much nicer, though. i'm not happy with the contrast and blending. i really need practice. this actually is all just for practice. i have another one coming, as soon as i get around to asking finni to get around to scanning it.
