Just some lineart revisited for some quick toning practice, done during my sanity breaks from midterms. x__x;; I'm still really terrible at toning in Photoshop, and can't seem to make my tones look... not sandy. - . -;;; Will probably scrap this later.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. I think my only concern would be the left picture's knee caps/highlights, and the forhead on the right. I think the covering of the entire knee may have thrown you off, and I feel as though circular highlights like those don't work as well if you want a 'truer' looking toning.
As for the other, I think a change in the 'lightness' of the tone would help, as it seems to blend in with his hair.
