All of the below information is based off the extensive and thorough commission information page created by *finni.

Contacts:
E-mail: zimmay@gmail.com
Instant Message: Note me and ask.
***Unless you know me personally or wish to discuss commissions, please do not contact me though instant message.

Programs:
Adobe Photoshop Elements 3.0
Photoshop CS2
Wacom Tablet (6x8 inches)

Traditional Materials:
Computer paper
Sketchbook paper
Bristol board
0.5 mechanical pencil
Eraser
Copic liners
Copic markers

My work is always a combination of traditional and digital media. I do not draw or ink digitally. For CG, I always pencil and ink by hand, then scan the inked image into my computer to color it in Photoshop. Unless it's an entirely traditional drawing, cosplay photo, or comic page, everything in my gallery is drawn in this way.

Strengths and Weaknesses
I am character artist, and am capable of imitating a variety of styles if given enough reference. I love inking and working with line weight, though sometimes I find I'm too afraid to push it. I am not a good anthro artist, nor do I enjoy drawing anthro. I am also not strong with drawing mecha or any other complicated kind of mechanical equipment, but with enough time and reference I can render cars. I can draw semi-realistic animals and flowers. My ability to draw detailed backgrounds is also not very strong, though I can with enough time. I tend to put solid colors or simple, painted backgrounds into my work. I work very hard on my drawings, and I work well under pressure and deadlines. I don't consider myself as much of a perfectionist as other artists, though I can be very particular about detail, and will often put in an extra hour or two to touch up and fine-tune everything I draw.

I Will NOT Draw:
:bulletred: Pornography or excessive frontal nudity.
:bulletred: Mecha/Anthro/Furry. Things like animal ears, tails, mer-people, and wings are fine.
:bulletred: I will NOT develop characters. Please do not commission me without a visual reference. Huge, detailed descriptions of your character will be turned down.
:bulletred: I will not draw fanart of pairings I dislike. If you don't know what those pairings are, all you have to do is ask. I.E. - I'm pretty much open to any Avatar pairing but Zutara.
Lastly, I reserve the right to refuse your request for any reason, as well as the right to withhold that reason from you.

All commissions will be done at 300DPI and will be of printable quality. I will not mail you prints, but I will e-mail you the full, print-size, high-resolution version of your commission, as well as a web-sized version. I may sign the image, but I will never watermark your personal copy. If you order a copic marker commission, I will send you the original in the mail.

The prices beside each type of commission below are approximate, and are based on how much time and effort I need in order to complete each one. Based on complexity, I may charge more. All prices are in USD.

If there is a deadline you would like me to meet, please tell me at the beginning of the commissioning process, and make sure you start that process at least one month in advance.

All sketches are $10.oo regardless of how much of the character is shown. It could be a bust, half-body, or full-body depending on what artistic liberties I decide to take. Basically, I'll start sketching and won't stop until I feel like the drawing has reached its worth.

You don't have anything on this, so I'll just go ahead and ask...

Is it okay if we ask you to draw a real person? Since I don't have any characters that I don't get bored of within the month, I was thinking of asking for a drawing of me.
:iconzimmay:
that's... an unusual request. o.o;; i'd feel more comfortable with a 2D, anime/disney styled visual reference. do you mean drawing you in realism?

.... omg lol this is practically a carbon copy version of my commissions page. XDD HOPE YOU GET CUSTOMERSSS GOGOGOGO~

So you know, a LOT of people like to ask for anime portraits of themselves. And I mean a lot. So be prepared for that. XD
:iconzimmay:
LOL SORRY i suck at coming up with these things. D: YEAH, ME TOO~ being able to eat somewhere other than crapé SCAD a couple times a week would be amazing. xD;;;

The length of these commission journals never cease to amaze me. o_O;; I'm broke myself (I have no idea how I lost so much money) but good luck in everything! XD
:iconmizure:
I have this really really incredibly strong urge to purchase art from you. :XD: I've never actually commissioned anything before, so I'm waiting for a chance to sit down and read through everything really carefully before I try. Three questions though:
1) On the commision form it asks for a description of the character's personality. Does this still apply if we're requesting fanart?
2) What EXACTLY counts as an illistration?
And 3) What kind of backgrounds can you do without charging extra/what level of difficulty do you accept for backgrounds?

If you could answer these, it would be much appreciated. :worship:

~Good morning sunshine, you’re my only light…~

"Sorry if this is weird but…do you like flying kites?"
:iconzimmay:
no problem!
1) it will apply if i am unfamiliar with the character, so it's best you include a short description just to be sure.
2) almost anything in my gallery without a white/plain background and more than one character.
3) solid backgrounds and gradient backgrounds i won't charge extra for. you'll have to show me what it is you want before i can answer the second part to this.

No, not realism. Just...drawing a real person in anime style.
